Note: this is a Non-Certification workshop.

This is a great opportunity to brush up on your CPR skills or learn them for the first time.  A Qualified CPR Instructor will come to your home or office and on your schedule. Or come learn at the beautiful Uptown Midwives Family Wellness Clinic. 


Perfect for Grandparents and other caregivers. Classes can be tailored to meet your individual needs.   


Learn First Aid and prevention specifically for Infants and Children as well as important Life Saving skills such as Anaphylaxis, CPR and Choking sequences. These skills will provide you and your loved ones with confidence needed to be prepared in many emergency situations. Content is based on current Canadian Red Cross Standards. 


Workshops are 2.5 - 3 hours long and are available days, evenings and weekends.

Certification Courses

Emergency First Aid and CPR Level C - Blended

Taught by a qualified CPR Instructor, this 1/2 day course meets Canadian Standards for Basic Life-saving and CPR. Participants will learn in a variety of fun and interactive ways to demonstrate and practice skills.

CERTIFICATION

3-year certification in Emergency First Aid CPR Level C  


DURATION

Canadian Red Cross offers a Blended Course where participants learn some theory online as well as hands-on skills time in a class setting. 

Online portion = approx 4 hours (online learning time depends on learner) 

Hands-on Class = 4.5 hours

Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C - Blended

Taught by a qualified CPR Instructor, this 1 day course meets Canadian Standards for Advanced Life-saving and CPR. Participants will learn more in depth skills and information in a variety of fun and interactive ways to demonstrate and practice skills.

3-year certification in Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR Level C & AED


DURATION

Online: 8 hours  

In Class: 6 - 8 hours  

This courses offers first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. Meets federal and a variety of provincial/territorial regulations for Standard First Aid and CPR.
